Fees

All private one-to-one lessons are booked in 30 minute slots.

Everyone starts with an assessment — a first session where we meet you, hear where you are and agree where you’d like to get to. After that you can pay as you go at the rates above, or move onto a term package or subscription.

Most of our students book by the school term or set up an annual subscription rather than paying class by class. Your weekly time slot is only held for you once a term package or subscription is booked.

There are three ways to do it:

• School term, paid upfront — one payment covers the full term, September to December. Your slot is held for the whole term, with no rebooking week to week.
• Annual subscription — twelve equal monthly payments covering a full academic year of classes. Our best value option, and by far the least admin.
• Adult lesson packages — a block of 4 or 10 lessons, used at your own pace, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Lessons with Bobby are priced separately and are not covered by the other packages. Adult lesson packages and gift certificates are redeemable with any of our teachers other than Bobby.

• All fees are paid in advance at the time of booking.
• Accepted payment methods: our website (Stripe), bank transfer, or cash.
• A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.
• Monthly subscriptions are available for regular students — see Packages & Subscriptions.

We operate a strict 36-hour cancellation policy on all pay-as-you-go and package lessons.

• Lessons cancelled or rescheduled at least 36 hours in advance: a lesson credit is issued for future use.
• Lessons cancelled within 36 hours or missed without notice: the lesson fee is forfeited.
• School term package classes do not qualify for the 36-hour policy — missed term classes are forfeited without exception.
• Prepaid lesson fees are redeemable before their expiry date but are not refundable or transferable.
